For å lage en god omelett har jeg lært meg at det er tre svært viktige ingredienser:
- Lav varme
- God tid
- Lokk på steikepanna
Ingredienser
Man kan variere ingrediensene i en omelett til det uendelige, men egg er nok det mest selvsagte. Her skisserer jeg det jeg brukte i denne omeletten.
- 6 egg
- krydder (salt og basilikum)
- Skinke
- Paprika
- Rødløk
- Brokkoli
- Tomat
- Hvitost
Fremgangsmåte
Det viktigste med en god omelett er fremgangsmåten
- Bland sammen egg og krydder. Her kan du også ha i litt vann, melk eller fløte om du ønsker.
- Kutt opp grønnsaker, kjøtt og ost (eller lag skiver av osten)
- Ha en god smørklatt på steikepanna og sett den på svak varme.
- Når smøret har smeltet har du i eggene, fyll på med grønnsaker, kjøtt og ost.
- Ha på lokk!! Dersom steikepanna ikke har lokk kan man improvisere (se bildet under!)
- TÅLMODIGHET
- Vent til osten er smeltet helt og alt av eggene er stivnet.
- Server omeletten med noen grønnsaker, en rømmedressing, salat eller spis den som den er 🙂
Bruk ekte meierismør og svak varme. På denne komfyren hadde jeg varmen på nr 3 av 6.
Jeg brukte et steikebrett til lokk, når jeg ikke hadde noe som passet til steikepanna. Funker veldig bra.
Og omeletten smaker veldig godt dagen etter, så du kan lage omeletten kvelden før og ha den med i matpakken. Det kan da være lurt å brette omeletten så osten kommer i midten.
Når en bruker så mye gode grønnsaker i en omelett, så blir det som en middag for meg! NAM 🙂
Ja, dette er en stor porsjon! Jeg og samboeren spiste litt mindre enn 1/4 hver til frokost, så her har vi til flere måltid:) Praktisk!
